Now Live: Arux + Bound integration eliminates double event entry

We’re excited to announce our integration with Bound, an activities management platform that includes facility management tools for scheduling, reservations, and payments for athletic venues and school spaces, is now live.

Districts using both Bound and Arux can now automatically bring activities and events created in Bound directly into Arux, and vice versa, eliminating the need for facilities teams to manually enter the same event into their calendars.

One event, one entry

The Bound and Arux integration helps districts keep activities scheduling and facilities management connected.

When events are created or updated, information can be shared between the two systems, reducing duplicate data entry and improving visibility for activities directors, facilities teams, community education staff, and community members.

Districts can choose the synchronization model that best fits their workflows:

• Bound → Arux: Events scheduled in Bound automatically create Facility Requests in Arux.

• Arux → Bound: Facility Requests in Arux are shared with Bound for visibility within activities scheduling.

• Two-Way Sync: Events can be exchanged between both systems.

Community education and activities departments will work together to determine the data flow that works best for them. Your support resources at Arux and Bound will work together to make sure you are all set up.

The integration helps:

• Reduce duplicate data entry

• Improve coordination between departments

• Increase calendar visibility

• Minimize scheduling conflicts

• Maintain accurate facility and event information across systems

Getting set up with the integration

Because every district’s facilities, buildings, and room configurations are unique, enabling the integration requires a brief setup process. 

While getting set up, districts will:

• Work with the Arux team to enable the integration

• Match Bound locations with buildings and rooms in Arux

• Review and confirm facility mappings

• Select the date from which events should begin syncing

Once configured, future events entered in Bound can automatically flow into Arux.

What happens when Bound events enter Arux

With the integration, during a Bound → Arux sync, events entered in Bound will be clearly identified in Arux with a Bound tag, making it easy to see where they originated. To ensure facility schedules remain accurate and properly managed:

• New events imported from Bound will enter Arux as Facility Requests Pending Approval

• Existing approved events that are updated in Bound will automatically return to Resubmitted for Approval

• Districts maintain full visibility and control through their existing Arux approval workflows

Already entering events into both systems?

We know that many districts may already have the same events entered separately in both Arux and Bound. 

In these situations, our team will help identify any potential duplicate or conflicting Facility Requests and recommend the best path forward before synchronization begins.
