Arux has added digital signature capability throughout the platform, giving organizations more official acknowledgment of agreements, contracts, and other requirements.
Digital signatures add an extra layer of confirmation and are especially useful to:
Confirm that families, staff, instructors, or participants have read and understood critical details, such as program policies, permission statements, or feedback forms.
Eliminate the need for paper-based forms and reduce the time spent manually collecting and organizing signed documents.
Ensure that digital acknowledgments are stored securely within Arux and tied to the relevant record, providing a clear audit trail.
Take compliance online — programs eligible for grants, such as ELO-P that have strict polices for capturing the acknowledgment of certain items, can make the entire enrollment process online.
Support a consistent user experience — digital signatures are presented as a natural part of the user flow, making it easy to incorporate verified responses into registration, enrollment, and feedback processes without disrupting your community.

Signing is easy. Users can sign using a mouse, stylus, or touchscreen. Each signature is securely stored with the user’s data for future reference and reporting. Specifically in Arux, users can enable digital signatures within:
Agreements
Question templates
Surveys and evaluations
Let’s dive into each use case, covering how and why you may want to require a digital signature from your program participant.
Agreements and facility requests
In Arux, an agreement provides your families and community members with the policies, waivers, releases, and terms and conditions that they need to acknowledge and agree to before enrolling or registering, or agreeing to a facility request.
Throughout enrollment processes, there are many instances where you will want to secure a higher level of consent from parents, organizations, and vendors. Now, you can have them sign as an alternative to a checkbox agreement. When enabled, users must sign the agreement before they can continue with registration in cases like:
Liability waivers
Financial terms
Photo releases
Registration questions
Some questions you include during enrollment may require stronger confirmation, such as granting specific permissions, accepting waivers, or other confirmations. Now, you can enable digital signatures in these cases.
After enabling, users must provide a signature as part of their response. This signature is securely stored and can be included in reports or referenced later for compliance and documentation purposes. In these use cases, digital signatures are great for:
Policy acknowledgements
Waivers or releases that need legal verification
Tracking formal consent for rules, fees, or media use
Surveys
You can also request or require that users provide a digital signature when completing a survey or evaluation. In this case, digital signatures are great for:
Collecting verified acknowledgments from families or staff
Confirming that users have reviewed key information or shared intentional feedback
Requesting consent for follow-up actions or participation
Enhancing accountability and providing clear documentation
You or your team can turn on or off the signature requirement per question in the survey or evaluation, giving complete control over when and where it's needed.
Streamline processes while reinforcing transparency
By integrating digital signatures across the platform, Arux now enhances how you can manage agreements, policies, and feedback from program participants. It’s a secure, quick, and easy method for obtaining confirmation, providing you with the confirmation and data you need, with a quick swipe.
